OWEN DELIGHTED HENRY IS BACK

Manchester United forward Michael Owen is extremely excited at the return of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry to his old stomping ground, and believes that the 34 year old’s return will not only help Arsenal to sustain their run at the top but will also reduce the stress on Robin van Persie.

The 31 year old Owen has been sidelined by an injury that has kept him out of action for almost two months now, but he is eager to renew his rivalry with the Arsenal legend when the two sides meet in the English Premier League.

OWEN OUT FOR 6 WEEKS

Manchester United's Michael Owen has been hit by another injury setback, which might keep him out of action until Christmas. The injury prone Manchester United front man, received yet another injury in early November in the Reds' Champions League match against Otelul Galati.

Owen was given a rare place in the starting lineup of the squad, but after only ten minutes, he was hobbling back off the pitch again with a thigh injury, only two minutes after Antonio Valencia’s opening goal in the eight minute. Manchester United went on to win 2-1.

OWEN TARGETS ENGLAND RECALL

Manchester United striker Michael Owen is determined to resume his England career.

Owen, 30, has rarely figured on Fabio Capello's radar since he became national team manager three years ago.

The former Newcastle and Liverpool star last appeared for England in March 2008, three months after the Italian took charge.

Owen, however, still believes he has something to offer, now he has shaken off a groin injury.
