Owen praises Rashford

Former England international Michael Owen has praised Marcus Rashford for the way he has been playing ever since making it to the Manchester United first team.

He said that the player had shown some maturity that is well beyond his age and that he has adapted to all kind of situations.

Owen said that the player made his breakthrough season in a difficult context when the Premier League side was struggling under Louis van Gaal. However, the player has seized the opportunity to make a name for himself and has since established himself as an important player for both Manchester United and England.

Even when Jose Mourinho came to Manchester United and brought in a number of established stars, Marcus Rashford has successfully fought his way back in the team despite having to spend some time on the bench.

It is believed that the new England manager will also give Marcus Rashford a place back in the national side after having been relegated to the U21 team by Sam Allardyce.

Michael Owen said that Marcus Rashford has some undeniable talent and that he is quite mature for his age. He said that the player had come in when Martial was injured and has since then won a place in the heart of the Manchester United fans.

He believes that there is still more to come from the England forward and that he will need to keep developing. He said that it is important that he keep his head on his shoulders and keep pushing to become a world-class player.

Michael Owen said that it is hard to play for Manchester United as there is so much competition for places. He believes that Marcus Rashford should be at the top of his game if he wants to success with the Red Devils.
