Liverpool Stays Strong With Transfers

Shaw Attracts Interest Of Top Clubs

Southampton’s Luke Shaw at his 18 years of age is already attracting the interest of top Premier League clubs as well as receiving the support of Michael Owen. The former star of Liverpool has stated that Luke Shaw is ready to play for a team such as Manchester United.

Michael Owen said: ‘’I think it's always good to keep progressing up the ladder and to play at the highest standard. And once you have had the experience that Luke Shaw has had in the Premier League, I think you are certainly ready for that challenge now’’.

This statement of Ferguson has come at a time when Owen is very close to the end of his career.

Owen had announced a few days ago that he would quit football at the end of the ongoing season.

In spite of the injuries, Owen’s career was a successful one. He scored more than 250 goals in his entire career.
